Brandywine Interventional Radiology (IR) Center – Now Open!

Brandywine Urology is proud to announce the opening of the Brandywine Interventional Radiology (IR) Center, which officially launched in July 2025!

Through our partnership with IR Centers, we’re excited to expand our services and provide patients with advanced, minimally invasive treatment options designed to deliver the highest level of care in interventional radiology.

We’re also pleased to welcome Anurag Chahal, MD, a board-certified interventional radiologist, to our team. Dr. Chahal brings extensive expertise in a wide range of procedures, including:

Vascular

  • PAE
  • Varicocoele embolization
  • AML embolization
  • RCC palliative embolization for refractory hematuria.
  • RCC Mets embolization
  • Bladder embolization for refractory hematuria, either post radiation or otherwise.
  • Venous embolization for venous leak for erectile dysfunction.

Non-vascular

  • PCN, PCNL access
  • SPT
  • Double J stents 
  • Hydrocele sclero
  • Lymphocele Sclero, Glue Lymphatic Embolization for recurrent postop lymphocele.
  • Renal Mass Ablation( when we have CT)
  • Biopsy- Kidney, Liver.

Offices Closed

Due to the Governor Meyer implementing a Level Two driving ban for all non-essential personnel in New Castle County: Brandywine Urology will be closed tomorrow, January 26.

The office will reopen on Tuesday, January 27.

All patients are encouraged to stay off the roads. If you need emergent care, you should go to the closest Emergency Department.
