Anurag Chahal, M.D.

Interventional Radiologist

After completing medical school and Diagnostic Radiology residency at the All-India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in New Delhi, India, I moved to the United States to pursue a cardiothoracic fellowship at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Driven by my passion for Interventional Radiology, I began my IR training with a surgery internship at Brookwood Baptist Health in Birmingham, AL, followed by a radiology residency at the Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology at Washington University in St. Louis. I then completed an Independent Residency/Fellowship in Interventional Radiology at the University of Pennsylvania.

It has been a long and rewarding transcontinental journey and I am eager to fulfill my dream of practicing clinical Interventional Radiology in Delaware, the First State. Having trained at these esteemed institutions, I have been fortunate to publish numerous papers and present at many international conferences.
