Lauren first came to the Eastern Shore area when she attended Washington College in Chestertown, MD for her B.S. in Biology. After graduation she completed a Master’s of Public Health program at Dartmouth College and returned to Maryland to work for a short time in Army Public Health at Aberdeen Proving Ground. She was accepted into the Towson University PA Program where she was first exposed to urology and spent multiple  clinical rotations training in the field. She accepted her first position at Mercy Medical Center in Baltimore, MD in inpatient urology where she gained valuable skills in the operating room as well as caring for patients in the outpatient setting. In the pursuit of the Eastern Shore lifestyle she returned to Chestertown, MD and worked shortly as a surgical PA at St. Francis Hospital before finding her home at BUC. 

Lauren is thoroughly enjoying Eastern Shore life with her husband and their three dogs. Their weekends are spent enjoying time on the water, raising beef cattle and chickens, tending their garden, and renovating their 100-year old home.
