Urology Surgeon

Dr. Alice Y. Wang, MD joined Brandywine Urology in September 2023 and is accepting new patients at all three office locations. 

Dr. Wang’s experience and clinical interests include complex male and female voiding dysfunction, including urinary incontinence, urethral stricture disease, pelvic organ prolapse, urinary fistulae, neurogenic bladder, and urologic reconstruction. She is well-versed in minimally invasive robotic surgery to treat pelvic organ prolapse and ureteral reconstruction. She also has extensive training in male stress incontinence with procedures including artificial urinary sphincter and male urethral sling. 

Dr. Wang graduated cum laude from Vanderbilt University with a dual degree in Neuroscience and Child Development. She then earned her Medical Doctorate with honors from the University of Illinois. Dr. Wang returned to Nashville, TN where she completed an internship in General Surgery and specialized residency in Urology at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.  She then completed a highly recognized fellowship in Male and Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive surgery at the Medical University of South Carolina, training under the prestigious Drs. Eric Rovner and Lindsey Cox.

Dr. Wang has a considerable research background and has published in the Journal of Urology and presented at the American Urologic Association (AUA). She also authored the most current chapter on urethral diverticulectomy in Hinman’s Atlas of Urologic Surgery.
